I have the info on Reiki, EFT, the secret movie, what the bleep, Vincent Peale, etc. How do I put this all together to manifest what I want?

Answer: Monique,

What an excellent question! There are so many systems and tools available for self improvement these days that people are starting to get confused about which method they should use, and I appreciate you asking this so that everyone can benefit from the answer.

The first and most critical part of any self improvement program is simply becoming aware of thoughts, feelings, and actions that are taking us in the wrong direction, and the second step is deciding what to do about it.

Anyone who has read more than one book on the subject, seen more than one movie, or listened to more than one audio program will be able to attest to the fact that there is one basic and underlying idea behind everything: Become aware of the problem.

However, this is not as simple as saying "I'm poor", or "I'm out of shape", or "I can't find a good relationship". Those facts are obvious to us, or we wouldn't be seeking self improvement education to begin with!

Most self improvement programs will have some type of evaluation system or self-education system that will allow you to define exactly WHY you are having issues to begin with, and it usually has to do with an innapropriate belief system, negative self-talk, etc.

Then, the individual systems help us to fine tune our Step 2 efforts, which are to take action in order to effect positive changes. So, to answer the question of what to do with all of this information, you should ask yourself 2 things:

1) Which system resonates - or rings true - with me? In other words, if someone told you to go stand on your head in the corner on top of a pile of mashed potatoes, holding a tea cozy in one hand and a bottle of Epsom Salts in the other, would you think that was a very realistic path towards self improvement?

Now, I'm not saying that you couldn't effect some positive changes with that bizarre ritual, but the point is that you if you personally don't believe in something, then it won't work for you.

2) What am I comfortable enough doing so that I will realistically do it on a frequent basis? None of these systems are going to teach you to become a millionaire in 2 days, or show you how to lose 50 pounds in a week. However, all of the good systems WILL teach you how to attain health, wealth, and personal success by consistently applying the principles. So, in order to see the benefit of those programs, you must be willing to consistently practice the techniques.

I will use the example of EFT, or the Emotional Freedom Technique. EXCELLENT system for self improvement on any level that you can imagine. The system comes highly recommended and it has a lot going for it as far as how long it takes, how easy it is, etc.

However, for me personally, I just don't really like to do it. Since it is a foregone conclusion that we will avoid doing things that we do not enjoy doing, then it stands to reason that you should employ a self-improvement program that you will actually use every day.

Personally, I am a Law of Attraction junkie, because I feel that it encompasses everything else if you know how to use it properly. Our thoughts lead to our emotions, which lead to our actions. In other words, if we think the right way, we will then feel the right way, and the tools that we need to take successful action will be brought to us by the Law of Attraction.

What is the easiest way to "bring it all together" when there is so much great information out there about self improvement?

Answer: Find a system that you believe in and that you will be willing to work at on a daily basis, or combine the best of several different systems, if that feels right to you. None of these systems are going to hurt you in any way, so you certainly have nothing to lose!
