Wow – Great timing.

Just last week I had an experience that tested my unfamiliar ground. I was about to make a real estate investment deal and got stopped. I was resistant.

All through this I hadn’t realized that this experience was an opportunity to be courageous.

You’re right about the words that we choose. Yes, just changing the words can be enough for certain people and in certain circumstances, but changing the meaning is what it’s all about in the end!

Beautifully put, Aaron… and a great way to keep us looking forward to the day ahead instead of dreading it!

I’ve never much bought into the idea of not calling problems “problems”… changing the words I use never did much for me (but if it works for others, that’s cool!) Now changing the concept behind a word… that is key. Looking at a problem and seeing it as a growth opportunity is an awesome way to face it. Not that it’s easy to do when we are in the middle of it, but it can become a habit with practice.
