In other words, as difficult as the climb to the top of any one peak may be, it is only from the top of that peak that you can see the next one. That is exactly how it happens, yet people tend to get caught up in the journey, as you indicated. We should see the steps for the value that they have – and we should also live in the moment – but at the same time, keeping our eyes on the end result that we want will then cause the necessary steps to just fall into place.

I think what happens sometimes is that we make the journey out goal. I've discovered that when we focus our attention on the goal the journey unfolds. That doesn't mean we should make plans in the achievement of the goal but we should remain flexible.
